Rhyl and Prestatyn are suitable for all ages and tastes. The two are very different. Rhyl is suitable for those after an active, lively holiday, whereas Prestatyn is a lot more peaceful and leisurely; it’s shielded by mountains, which provide some excellent walking country.
The two towns have four beaches between them. The coastline has over seven miles of golden, clean sand.
Rhyl is a typical seaside resort with all the traditional favorites like the seaside rides and amusements. It also has a miniature railway beside the lake. Prestatyn’s beaches are perfect for jet skiing. With a backdrop to the spectacular Clwydian Range, this is a truly stunning location - an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty".
